Run your shop.
Keep them airworthy.
AirworthyMX puts work orders, squawks, maintenance due lists, customers, aircraft records, parts and billing in one platform — with the FAA-ready paperwork your inspectors have been hand-typing for years.

One work order, end to end
From squawk to return to service, every hour, part and sign-off on one record.
Never miss an interval
Calendar, Hobbs, tach or cycles — due lists that open work orders for you.
FAA-ready paperwork
Logbook entries, RTS statements and shop-branded PDFs generated from the job.
Your whole team
Admins, managers, mechanics, inspectors and billing — each sees what they need.
The problem
Good mechanics, buried in paper.
Most shops run on a whiteboard, a shared spreadsheet, a stack of squawk sheets and an inspector's memory. It works — until it doesn't.
Work orders that live in three places
The squawk sheet in the hangar, the estimate in email, the invoice in QuickBooks. Nobody has the whole picture.
Intervals tracked by hand
Annuals, 100-hours, ADs and life-limited parts on a spreadsheet someone forgets to update. Surprises cost airplanes days.
Paperwork typed after the fact
Logbook entries and RTS statements written from memory at 6pm, with the certificate number looked up again each time.
Owners in the dark
Customers call to ask "is it done yet?" because nobody has time to tell them what's approved, what's waiting, and what it'll cost.
The platform
Everything a maintenance shop runs on.
Built around the way a job actually flows through a hangar — not a generic field-service tool with an aviation skin.
Work orders & squawks
A nine-stage lifecycle — draft, awaiting approval, approved, in progress, on hold, QC review, completed, invoiced — with labor lines, parts lines and numbered discrepancies on one record. AOG jobs float to the top of every list.
- Per-shop numbering (WO-000001)
- Mechanic & inspector assignment
- Reusable job templates
- Corrective action + MM reference per squawk
- Deferral with a deferred-until date
- Hobbs/tach in & out captured on the job
Maintenance tracking
Intervals by calendar, Hobbs, tach or cycles. Overdue, due soon and upcoming views, and a work order opened automatically when something comes due.
CRM
Customers, multiple contacts, pinned note timelines, payment terms and tax exemption — with every aircraft they own linked.
Aircraft records
Tail number, serial, TTIS, TSMOH, TSO and cycles. Hour logs are the only thing that moves the clocks, so the numbers stay honest.
Parts & inventory
13 aviation categories, cost, markup, min stock and reorder points. Lot and serial tracking for life-limited parts.
Billing
Labor and parts totals, per-line tax rules, shop supplies, invoices from completed work orders. Card and ACH payments coming soon.
FAA paperwork
Logbook entries, return-to-service statements and shop-branded work order PDFs with your repair station number on the letterhead.
⌘K search
One keystroke to any work order, tail number, customer or part number. Recent items first.
How it works
From squawk to return to service.
Every step writes to the same record, so the paperwork at the end is already done.
-
01
Intake
Aircraft arrives. Capture Hobbs and tach in, the customer's complaint and the inspection type. Or let a due maintenance schedule open the job for you.
-
02
Estimate & approve
Build labor and parts lines from a template, send the estimate, and record the customer's approval before a wrench is turned.
-
03
Work the job
Mechanics log squawks with corrective actions and MM references from the phone. AOG flags and on-hold reasons keep the whole shop in sync.
-
04
Inspect & sign off
Your IA reviews in QC, enters the return-to-service statement and certificate number, and signs off. Aircraft times roll forward automatically.
-
05
Invoice & release
Totals, tax and shop supplies are already computed. Generate the PDF, invoice the customer, and the next interval is already scheduled.
FAA paperwork
Paperwork that writes itself from the job.
The certificate numbers, aircraft times, discrepancies and corrective actions are already on the work order. AirworthyMX turns them into the documents you sign — instead of retyping them.
-
Maintenance record entries
14 CFR 43.9 and 43.11-formatted logbook entries for airframe, engine and propeller, with times, description of work and the signer's certificate number.
-
Return-to-service statements
The RTS statement captured at sign-off, gated to inspector-role users, timestamped and printed on the record.
-
Major repair & alteration (Form 337) prep
Work orders typed as major repair or major alteration pre-fill the aircraft, owner and description blocks for the 337.
-
AD & SB compliance
Dedicated inspection types and compliance references keep a searchable history of what was complied with, when, and at what time.

FAQ
Common questions.
Who is AirworthyMX for? +
Part 145 repair stations, independent A&P/IA mechanics, FBO maintenance departments, and operators or flight schools maintaining their own fleet. If you open work orders on aircraft, it's for you.
Does it replace my accounting software? +
No — it replaces the spreadsheet and paper between the hangar and your accounting software. Invoices are built from completed work orders; exports and integrations are on the roadmap.
Can my mechanics use it on their phones? +
Yes. The app is designed mobile-first with a bottom tab bar, and every screen works from 360px up. Squawks, hours and parts can be logged from the hangar floor.
Does the FAA paperwork replace my judgement? +
No. AirworthyMX pre-fills maintenance record entries, RTS statements and Form 337 prep from the work order data. Your certificated mechanic or IA reviews, edits and signs every record — you remain the responsible party.
How does it work if I work at two shops? +
Each shop is its own company with its own data. A user can belong to several companies and switch between them from the account menu.
How long does setup take? +
Most shops are running work orders on day one. Import your customers, aircraft and parts list, set your labor rates and letterhead, invite the team, and go.
Is my data safe? +
Every record is scoped to your company, every action is authorized by role, and accounts support two-factor authentication. Data is backed up daily and encrypted in transit and at rest.
